John Bizzell
He bought 200 acres in Nansemond Co. from the Territorial Governor and the patent was dated 24 Jan 1717. The land lay adjacent to the lands of Francis Sanders, James Holland, Thomas Bizzell and Mr. Howard. John paid "twenty shillings of good and lawful money" for these 200 acres, and the patent did not memtion the importation of indentured servants from England.
